Linda (Taylor) Cool

Linda Mae Taylor Cool, 78 of Franklin, NE passed away at home on November 3, 2025. Linda was born March 24, 1947 in Orleans, NE. The first born to Vincent and Maxine Taylor. Linda had 3 daughters, Wanda J Mitchem Huffaker, Benita L Mitchem and Tina M Beisner. She married Archie Cool November 17, 1977. In 1979 they moved to Texas where after 30 years she retired as a kitchen supervisor at Inglewood Retirement Community. Linda returned to Nebraska in 2016 to enjoy retirement and be near family.

Proceeded in death by her parents, husband Archie Cool, brother Ray Taylor, sister-in-law Mary Taylor. Survived by her daughters Wanda J Huffaker (William) Richwood, TX, Benita L Mitchem Red Cloud, NE, Tina M Beisner Franklin, NE, youngest brother Karl Taylor Naponee, NE. Seven grandchildren BJ Beard Jr (Kasey) Sweeny, TX, Rebecca Jones (Josh) Lake Jackson, TX, Bill Huffaker Yoakum, TX, Jason Beard Brazoria, TX, Marcia Huffaker Yoakum, TX, Jarrod Beard (Lori) West Columbia, TX, Sarah Yildirim (Muhamad) Germany and seventeen great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced this spring by Hutchins Funeral Home, Franklin, Nebraska.
