Judith Anne Lammers was born the youngest of two children to James Doyle and Martha (Brainard) Hamilton on May 15, 1944, in Minden, Nebraska. Judith attended school in Minden, Nebraska, where she graduated 12th Grade.
In 1965, Judith married Ronnie Lammers in Minden, Nebraska, and to this union six children were born: Mike, Steve, David, Robert, Stacy, and Amy.
Judith worked at the Minden Courier with her parents and brother, Jim, for several years, as well as at various other jobs in and around Franklin County.
In her leisure time, Judith enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed doing puzzles and going on trail rides.
Judith passed away from this life on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Colonial Villa in Alma, Nebraska, with her family by her side.
Preceding her in death were her parents; grandparents; her son, David; her brother, Jim Hamilton; her great-granddaughter, Neveah Lucht; and her great-grandson, Dominic Lammers.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Mike (Deb) Lammers of Riverton, Nebraska; Steve (Ty) Lammers of Inavale, Nebraska; Robert (Lafona) Lammers of Arapahoe, Nebraska; Stacy Massey (Gary) of Phillipsburg, Kansas; and Amy Schriner (Matt) of Orleans, Nebraska; grandchildren: Dustin Lucht (Jeralynn), Rebecca Lueking (Brian), Tony Lammers, Laranda Harper (Dallas), Maggie Lammers, Kendra Jackson, David Reed, Paden Schriner, and Emorie Schriner; great-grandchildren: Max, Jaia, Kaylee, McKinley, Peter, Grant, Everleigh, Nova, and Darci; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
She will be dearly missed by everyone.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Hutchins Funeral Home in Franklin, Nebraska, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Crossgate Community Church in Franklin, Nebraska, with Pastor Kasey Loschen officiating.
A luncheon will be held at the church following the service. Committal services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Minden City Cemetery in Minden, Nebraska.
Memorials are suggested to the family for designation at a later date.
