Garnet Lillian Rhine Dallmann, 92, formerly of Minden, NE, passed away on December 5, 2008 in Glendale, AZ. She was born on August 8, 1916, in Campbell, NE, the youngest of five children of Charlie and Margaret (Lang) Rhine. She graduated from Bladen High School in Bladen, NE. She earned her teaching certificate and was a teacher in a one-room country school prior to marrying Herman A. Dallmann, a farmer, on May 23, 1940. After her husband's death, she worked for the Bethany Home in Minden about 15 years before retiring.

She is survived by her son: Kenneth Dallmann, Glendale, AZ; daughter: Verlene Rozmus, El Centro, CA; daughter: Delores Farlin, Davao, The Phillipines; daughter: Nola Johnsen, Sentani, Paupa, Indonesia; Grandchildren: 9; Great Grandchildren: 3. She was preceded in death by She was preceded in death by infant twin sons in 1949, her husband in 1966, brother, and three sisters.

Funeral services will be at 10:00AM, Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at Macon United Methodist Church, Macon, Nebraska with Rev. Neil Kloppenborg officiating. Visitation will be from 9 AM to 10 AM Tuesday, prior to funeral services. Burial will be in Macon Union Cemetery, Macon, Nebraska.
