Elaine Jackson was born on September 3, 1939 in Cedar Rapids, Nebraska to Mike and Frances Liss Zoucha. She passed away from this life on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Harlan County Health Systems, Alma, Nebraska at the age of 71.

She graduated from Central City High School. She married Jim Jackson on August 18, 1984 in Franklin, Nebraska. She worked at CO-OP in Franklin for 10 years as a clerk and recently retired. She like to play bingo, loved to read and go to the library. She loved to garden, playing cards and her dogs. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Jim, Franklin, NE; children Tom Moulton and wife Jacquie, Alma, NE; Jerry Moulton and wife Sheryl, Holdrege, NE; Tammy Dow and husband Tom, Hayes Center, NE; Debbie Meade and husband Terry, Franklin, NE; step children DeWayne Jackson, North Platte, NE; Chris Jackson and wife Lindsay, Franklin, NE; and Terry Dale Jackson, Franklin, NE; 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; Brothers: Mike Zoucha and wife Mary, Hillsboro, OR; Donald Zoucha and wife Verna, Chapman, NE; Jim Zoucha and wife Esther, Oceanside, CA; Fred Zoucha and wife Tina, Vancouver, WA; sisters: Mary Neff and husband Ed, Vancouver, WA; and Evelyn Petri, Vancouver, WA.

Funeral services will be at 2:00PM, Thursday, March 10, 2011 at United Methodist Church, Franklin, Nebraska with Rev. Nancy Leonard officiating. Visitation will be from 1-5PM Monday, 9-5 Tuesday, and 9-8 Wednesday at Hutchins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Franklin, Nebraska. The family suggests memorials be made to the family as the charity will be named at a later date.
