Dordy Waage

Dordy Fernanda Waage, 94, was born Oct. 18, 1912, in Fana, Norway. She passed away in her sleep Feb. 21, 2007, at Brendan House in Kalispell.

She married Ole Waage in February 1935 and immigrated to America in 1947.

She is survived by her son, John Waage, of Kalispell; and her daughter, Aud, and son-in-law, Jerry Biederstedt, of Kalispell; her grandchildren, Richard Biederstedt of Santa Clarita, Calif., and Julie Ann Conroy of Houston; and two great-grandchildren, Sean and Sarah Conroy, of Houston.

Burial will take place in Franklin, Neb., next to her husband, Ole, who pre-deceased her in 1970.

Private grave side service will be Wednesday, February 28, 2007, at the Greenwood Cemetery, Franklin, Nebraska, with Pastor Neil Kloppenborg. Hutchins Funeral Home, Franklin, Nebraska, was in charge of local arrangements.
