Delpha Jean Blum Stover was born April 15, 1930 to Harold Sr and Sarah Blum at the family farm near Alma, NE. Delpha passed away Saturday, June, 14th, 2025 at the age of 95. Delpha was baptized in the Methodist Church in Alma, NE where she was confirmed and where she was married to Lyle Stover. Delpha spent her school years at the Alma Public School and graduated with the class of 1947. She was later employed as the secretary of the school.

Delpha was engaged to Lyle Stover and they were married October 5, 1947. To this union were born two children, Cheryl Lynn and Randall Lee. They made their home in Alma, while Lyle was employed with the company that built the Harlan County Dam. Lyle and his brother Lemoine also operated a Used Vehicle business in Alma.

In 1954 the family moved to Franklin, NE where Lyle and his father Leonard Stover purchased the Ford Motor Dealership. They named the business Franklin Motor Co. Inc. Delpha became the secretary and bookkeeper for the business for the 37 years until they closed out the dealership. They then started a small repair shop by the Franklin Golf Course and served the area for another 11 years until they decided to retire.

Delpha and Lyle enjoyed working together as well as having the family come home to visit. They enjoyed traveling, playing golf and driving out into the country to watch for wildlife. Delpha served as a Sunday School teacher, a Girl Scout leader, Treasurer for the Franklin Country Club, President of the Franklin United Methodist Women, Volunteer for the Bloodmobile, and a member of the Franklin Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed visiting and having family and friends come to her home.

Lyle and Delpha celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary October 5, 2012 with a reception at the Franklin United Methodist Church, where they renewed their vows for their family and friends to witness. The family grew over the years to daughter Cheryl and husband Frank Chapman, son Randall and significant other Dee Reinhardt, Seven Grandchildren - Troy and wife Renay Stover, Mindy and husband Jon Hackel, Wendy Stover, Jason Stover, Arial and husband Nathaniel Earl, Shane and wife Erica Chapman, and Todd and wife Roxann Chapman. Eight Great Grandchildren- Andrew Stover, Rachel Stover, Payton Urbanovsky and husband Joshua and their son Crew Urbanovsky, Trey Hackel, Robert Space, James Space, Jade Statler-Stover and Vivian Earl.

Delpha was proceeded in death by her beloved husband Lyle in 2013, her son Randall and Dee Reinhardt, her parents Harold Sr and Sarah Blum, brother Harold Jr Blum sister-in-law Mary Jean Blum, father and mother-in-law Leonard and Edith Stover, brother-in-law Lemoine Stover and wife Maxine Stover, daughter-in-law Karen Stover, and nephew Michael Stover. She leaves her sister Phyllis and husband Ronald Coffin and family and her many friends with their memories of her.

A Memorial service will be11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Grace Lutheran Church, Franklin with Pastor Rodney Heilbrun officiating. Family inurnment will be in Naponee Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Franklin EMT’s and Franklin Methodist Church. Hutchins Funeral Home, Franklin assisted the Stover Family with these direct cremation services.
